We extend a warm welcome to all our visitors this morning! Visitors, please complete the Welcome card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate, so we may know how best to minister to/with you. Let’s prepare our hearts with silent Bible reading, meditation, and prayer before the service begins.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION

All:  My heavenly Father, I come to You in need of Your cleansing grace.  Forgive me for all of my sins that I have committed against You. You alone are holy and righteous and good, and yet I continue to sin against You in my words, thoughts, and actions. I have not surrendered to You as I ought, nor loved You with all of my heart.  Take these and all the other sins that reside in the secret recesses of my heart and make me pure by the shed blood of my Savior, Jesus Christ.  Fill me with Your Holy Spirit.  Come, Spirit of God, and have Your way with me. I yield myself afresh to You and ask that You remove anything in my life that prevents me from absolute obedience and responsiveness to You and Your Word.  Take my life and let it be consecrated to You that I may honor you by the way I live.  Give me the grace to implicitly trust You in all things and help me conquer the fear of putting all matters into Your hands.  Lead me gently and firmly, all the while assuring me of Your presence. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
