We extend a warm welcome to all our visitors this morning! Visitors, please complete the Welcome card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate, so we may know how best to minister to/with you. Let’s prepare our hearts with silent Bible reading, meditation, and prayer before the service begins.
PRAISE (We Acknowledge God’s Majesty)
PRELUDE Praise Team
*HYMN 53 Praise To The Lord, The Almighty
*CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 146
Leader: Praise the Lord, O my soul! I will praise the Lord as long as I live…
All: Blessed is he…whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever;
Leader: who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; the Lordopens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
All: The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. The Lord will reign forever….Praise the Lord!
*PRAISE SONGS Indescribable
Isaiah 43
*INVOCATION
CORPORATE PRAYER OF CONFESSION
All: Merciful Lord, pardon our sins. We have been hasty and short in prayer, and this first sin of the day leads to so many others. Keep us from robbing you of the true worship which your glory requires and which our hearts so urgently need. Wipe out our sins, known and unknown, felt and unfelt, remembered and forgotten. Enable us to remember the blood that cleanses from all sin, and the grace which overwhelms all evil, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
SILENT CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF PARDON Psalm 130:3-4

Heidelberg Catechism–
- Q15 What kind of mediator and deliverer must we seek? /
Answer: One who is a true and righteous man,
and yet more powerful than all creatures; that is, one who is at the same time true God.
- Q16 Why must he be a true and righteous man? /
Answer: He must be a true man because the justice of God requires that the same human nature which has sinned should pay for sin. He must be a righteous man because one who himself is a sinner cannot pay for others.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hearing assistance and large print pew Bibles are available during the worship service. Please contact an usher for assistance.
Communion – We are having communion next week Sunday, March 14th.
Women in the Church – All women are invited to participate in an upcoming new Women’s Bible study – Flourish – How the Love of Christ Frees Us from Self-Focus by Lydia Brownback. A quick overview of the book “Flourish equips us with tools to identify the lies that come at us about where to find real life. As we dig deep into what God says in his Word, we will learn to discern the worldly influences that threaten to warp our understanding of what it really means to be a Christian and emerge with a faith that flourishes―full of the abundant life Jesus promises.”
Our first Bible study will be on Saturday, March 20th at 9:00 am. There are a total of 6 Chapters. We will use Zoom video conferencing to conduct the study. The study book is NOT available on Amazon, so **please let Christine Stalnaker or Susan Hauver know if you would like the book no later than March 7th so we can order them prior to the first study (there is homework.)
If you have any questions, please contact Christine Stalnaker (CStalnaker7862@gmail.com)
