Sunday School

Sunday School begins promptly at 9:30 A.M. and runs until approximately 10:30 A.M.  Faith stresses that Sunday School is for ALL ages, as we believe that the Christian walk should never be stagnant
Our pre-school and elementary classes are taught by teachers approved by the Session of the church and use instructional guides prepared by the Gospel Story Bible Curriculum.  Middle and high school classes use curriculum published by Great Commission Publishers or other topical or Bible studies approved by the Session.  Adult classes cover a multitude of topics, including books of the Bible and subjects having an impact on our Christian walk.

Pre-school and Elementary Sunday School:

Pilgrim’s Progress by Paul Bunyan

Adult Sunday School:

New Sunday School Series

The Pilgrim’s Progress: A Guided Tour

Starting Sunday, September 6th

We are starting a new Sunday school series this week.  It is unique because we are going to all be studying the same material across all the grade levels from primary to adult.  The adult class will continue as we have throughout the summer meeting at 9:00AM on Zoom.  We are going to be using Derek Thomas’ video series from Ligonier Ministries.  Greg Stalnaker and John Armstrong will be facilitating the class and leading discussion.  If you have never read The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan, then we would definitely encourage you to either read or listen to the story.  It is historically, the second most read book in the English language behind the Bible.  The beauty of Bunyan’s writing is that he weaves biblical language throughout the prose and this allegorical story is a very rich treasure trove of biblical application.  I really cannot encourage you enough to join us and participate in this great study.  If you read the story and meditate on the applicable Scriptures you will find this a very fruitful study.
