We extend a warm welcome to all our visitors this morning! Visitors, please complete the Welcome card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate, so we may know how best to minister to/with you. Let’s prepare our hearts with silent Bible reading, meditation, and prayer before the service begins.
PRAISE (We Acknowledge God’s Majesty)
PRELUDE
*CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 5:3-4, 7, 11-12
O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you. But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you. But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.
*PRAISE SONGS How Great Is Your Faithfulness
He Will Hold Me Fast
*INVOCATION
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
All: “Whom have I in heaven besides you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” This we declare! This we know to be true. But, O Lord, we sin against You in disobedience, in faithlessness, and in joyless obedience. We trust in our own ways, we seek our own ends. We put our trust in the things of this world when we know that our hope, our home, our rest, our life rests only with You in Your eternal kingdom. We are ever ready to defend ourselves; ready to justify our sinful hearts and its fruit when You alone are able to justify in love and mercy. We turn to you in Christ our Lord. We have no merit of our own, but plead His shed blood as our only hope. He took our sin upon Himself, canceling our debt, having paid it in full! It is His righteousness that covers us as we trust in Him for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Forgive us through our savior Jesus Christ, the Lord and giver of life, the justifier of God’s elect. O Lord, hear us we pray. Amen.

Day of Prayer and Fasting: The Session has declared Good Friday to be a day of prayer and fasting for Faith Church in connection with the rest of the PCA. As a denomination we are joining with other denominations to pray for God’s mercy and grace in the midst of this time of crisis. We will be publishing more information about this through email and Slack.
Good Friday Service: Please join us on Friday, April 10th at 7:00 PM for our livestream Good Friday Service. We will be doing a special service of Scripture and Music in the style of “lessons and carols” with a look at Jesus’ seven words from the cross. You will be able to join us online at www.faithreformed.org.
Updating Our Nursery: We are in the process of updating our church nursery and have created a registry list of items we need for our nursery on Amazon. A link for this registry was sent out on our church email chain. If you did not get the link and would like to help purchase items to help us as we minister to our little ones, please email Debbie Tuel at gardentuel@icloud.com
