We extend a warm welcome to all our visitors this morning! Visitors, please complete the Welcome card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate, so we may know how best to minister to/with you. Let’s prepare our hearts with silent Bible reading, meditation, and prayer before the service begins.

*CALL TO WORSHIP                 Psalm 98:2-4a, 7-9

Leader: The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

All: He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Leader: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth…

All: Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it!

Leader: Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.

All: He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

*PRAISE SONGS               There Is A Redeemer

                                                Fullness of Time

All: We confess and acknowledge one God alone, to whom alone we must cleave, whom alone we must serve, whom only we must worship, and in whom alone we put our trust.  Who is eternal, infinite, immeasurable, incomprehensible, omnipotent, invisible; one in substance and yet distinct in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.  By whom we confess and believe all things in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, to have been created, to be retained in their being, and to be ruled and guided by His inscrutable providence for such end as His eternal wisdom, goodness, and justice have appointed, and so the manifestation of His own glory, Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON                         Psalm 37:39-40

“The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.”

For 2020, we are continuing to provide a basic Family Worship plan to help enable our families more regularly worship together during the week. In each weekly bulletin, we will provide a Daily Bible Reading plan from “M’Cheyne Daily Bible Reading Plan”, weekly questions from the Westminster Shorter Catechism, and a hymn for you to learn together.

Week 48:

Weekly Hymn:   196 O Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus

Shorter Catechism–

  • Q95 To whom is Baptism to be administered? /

Answer: Baptism is not to be administered to any that are out of the visible church, till they profess their faith in Christ, and obedience to him; but the infants of such as are members of the visible church are to be baptized.

  • Q96 What is the Lord’s Supper? /

Answer: The Lord’s Supper is a sacrament, wherein, by giving and receiving bread and wine, according to Christ’s appointment, his death is showed forth; and the worthy receivers are, not after a corporal and carnal manner, but by faith, made partakers of his body and blood, with all his benefits, to their spiritual nourishment, and growth in grace.
