We extend a warm welcome to all our visitors this morning! Visitors, please complete the Welcome card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate, so we may know how best to minister to/with you. Let’s prepare our hearts with silent Bible reading, meditation, and prayer before the service begins.

*HYMN OF PRAISE Angels From The Realms of Glory!
*CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 103:1-5
Leader: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
All: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
*PRAISE SONGS How Glorious The Love of Heaven
O Little Town of Bethlehem
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
All: Almighty God, To know you is the fulfillment of our deepest longings and the satisfaction of our most ardent desires. Yet foolishly we have sought our pleasures elsewhere. We have put the seeking of idols, which are bound to leave us feeling empty, above seeking you. We have failed to love you with our whole heart, soul, and mind. We have failed to love our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us for our sins for the sake of your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. And grant that from now on we might serve you in newness of life.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON Isaiah 44:22
“I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.”
CONSECRATION (We Surrender Our Lives to Christ)
*HYMN 216 Infant Holy, Infant Lowly
THE OFFERING Philippians 4:17
“Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.”

- Q101 What do we pray for in the first petition? /
Answer: In the first petition, which is, Hallowed be thy name, we pray that God would enable us, and others, to glorify him in all that whereby he makes himself known; and that he would dispose all things to his own glory.
- Q102 What do we pray for in the second petition? /
Answer: In the second petition, which is, Thy kingdom come, we pray that Satan’s kingdom may be destroyed; and that the kingdom of grace may be advanced, ourselves and others brought into it, and kept in it; and that the kingdom of glory may be hastened.
